Our practice offers the convenience of single-visit restorations using CEREC® CAD/CAM technology. Using the CEREC® system, we can now complete a color-matched ceramic restoration that is custom designed by our doctors while you relax in the comfort of our office.

It is possible! Most CEREC® restorations can be designed and placed in a single visit - which also means no messy dental impressions or temporary restorations. You leave our office with the finished result - a beautiful restoration that is designed to help strengthen and protect natural tooth structure.

CEREC® Onlays and Inlays vs. Traditional "Fillings"
Tooth enamel is the hardest substance in the body. Damage caused by decay or trauma weakens the tooth because enamel has been compromised. The ideal solution is to restore the tooth with a material that is as strong as enamel, while maintaining as much natural tooth structure as possible. In many cases, CEREC® Inlays and Onlays are a better choice than a traditional filling, because of the more durable nature of CEREC® ceramics.

How does CEREC® work?
CEREC® uses CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology, incorporating a camera, computer and milling machine in one instrument.
